Which
to Send Us?
35 MM Photo, or a Digital Photo
When ordering an 8" X 10" personal meditation picture
either as a single or in one of our packages, you will most likely
need to shoot on 35 mm film.
The exception
to this is if you own a professional digital camera that
has a resolution of four megapixels or more. With a four
megapixel camera, you will be able to produce an image that is acceptable
for an 8" X 10" photograph.
You will need
to shoot with the highest resolution your digital camera offers.
This will create a large file. You can then either email it to us
or burn it to a CD and mail it. Because of the size of this file
and the time (60 minutes plus) it will take to send it from your
computer, we recommend mailing a CD.
We also offer
environments that do not require you to take a new picture.
For these options please see page two of the Mystical Backgrounds
page. If you choose one of these backgrounds, pick out an existing
picture and send it to us. We will need a picture that is framed
from the waist to the top of the head.
Tips
for a Good Photograph
- You can sit
on a pad or in a chair. If you are more comfortable sitting in
a chair, use a "kitchen chair" or a chair that you don't
sink down into. I need to have a clear shot of pants and feet
to remove you from your picture and composite you into the new
background.
- If you are
a photographer, you can manually set your exposure on the camera,
if not, it is better to let the camera do it for you.
- Hold the
camera at eye level or lower with the subject, while standing
or kneeling directly in front of the subject.
- Hold
the camera vertically:

- Frame
as tight as you can on the subject.
